What is it?
Calerascopia is a photography competition created to disseminate the village of Calera and Chozas, one of the most important in the region of Talavera de la Reina. This place is home from famous Vía verde de la Jara and a great natural attraction and beautiful scenery.
The project aims to all lovers of photography. In a world of technology and a lot of digital processing, we seek purity in photography and capture the moment.
Pictures can be captured during the whole year in Calera y Chozas. The deadline for submitting files open during the summer months for the exhibition in September. Subscribe to the newsletter to stay informed about important dates and all news.
It's a good idea to send photos captured in different seasons and different places in the area. In this town there are lots events like Carnival, Easter, Romería of May, Day of the Bicycle, The celebrations of Christ's village (very funny), the route of Vía verde de la Jara during the whole year ... know the calendar for more information on facebook.
Participation is online but the pictures must be captured in the village. After the selection of the finalists, an exhibition will open in the ethnographic museum.
